Cedar Lodge is a small privately owned lakeside paradise located on Lake Buchanan.  Almost 7 miles of open-water views are spectacular year round.  No matter the lake level you'll always have access to the beautiful clear waters that the south side of Lake Buchanan provide. When the lake level is up our lighted fishing pier is a great place to catch fish, watch for shooting stars or just relax.  When the lake level is down, there's a great sandy beach perfect for swimming, boating, fishing or moonlit strolls.  Lake Buchanan is the largest of the highland lakes chain, so there's plenty of room for your recreation fun.  For most up-to-date lake levels and condition log onto www.lcra.org. 

The cabins are spread out over a little more than 5 acres but they are all within walking distance to the beachfront.  They surround a granite outcrop on the property that's estimated to be about 1.2 billion years old.  The original log cabins were built in the 1940's. They have been completely remodeled to include most conveniences of home without loosing their rustic charm and cozy appeal.
